Oh the perils of trying to use Craigslist. I had found a bike so unbelievably perfect for me, 54 cm frame and a 30" stand over height. Plus it was a fairly well known brand (Raleigh), was relatively light, and just a bit out of my budget... so I was willing to stretch that, understandably. Well, I got around to emailing the owner, who lived just a few miles down the road. I waited anxiously for their response, expecting to see a response to whether or not they would sell it for slightly cheaper. Unfortunately, I was told that they had just sold the bike a few hours before I had written. I'm cursed, I know it.
I went for a run this morning since it's supposedly the only day where it won't rain (for the entire week... fml). I had taken a day off yesterday, and kind of cheated with eating, what with Memorial day weekend and all. I expected a mediocre run, and that's what happened. Total distance clocked in at 4.69 miles with me walking .57 of that in the middle. This is a really bad habit I've gotten into that I really should work on... um... not doing? Haha, I'm pretty sure I'm not helping the 'marathon mentality' by allowing myself to walk. Seriously though, hills absolutely killed my calves. Aside from that, the run was more or less what I thought it would be. Maybe I'll punish myself with a long run tomorrow... in the rain :D.
There is good news though, Chris might've found me a bike. If you're reading this... details wanted... i.e. A/S/L lol.
