For a reason that's really boring and kind of stupid to explain, I'm still in the US. I leave later tonight. Upshot... I got one more good run in. Yesterday, I was feeling all sorts of nostalgia (that I wouldn't be able to have monstrous burgers in Taiwan) so I ate 2 whole boxes of cereal. Needless to say, that feeling of a being a brick returned. Anyway, there was lightning (and the accompanying thunder) last night, so I thought I'd keep it close to home this morning in case it started pouring. Conditions were kind of annoying, which is to be expected, semi-sunny and humid, but I still managed a respectable run. Final distance was 6.80 miles in I think 52 minutes or so. I didn't blaze any records, but it was certainly respectable. Side note... I ended up sprinting at the very end since I felt a single drop of rain (I hope it was rain) fall on my face. Then, a couple minutes later, the sun comes out. Terrific, I felt like dying when I got back to my driveway.
Bye America... seriously this time.
